Insert round connector of
110 volt adapter into jack
on back of charger.
Plug 110 volt adapter into
electrical outlet.
The CHARGE indicators light
will stay on as long as the
radio or battery pack is in the
charging well, even after the
batteries are fully charged.
It normally takes about 15 hours
to fully recharge batteries.
Batteries will not be damaged if
they stay in the charging well
longer than that.

For use with Cobra® microTALK®
models FRS 104, FRS 130, FRS 235
and FRS 307 fitted with charge
contacts in the battery door.
Note
Not all models include charge
contacts in the battery door.
Each port can charge one
radio or one NiMH battery
pack model FA-BP.
Uses 110 Volt adapter .
Note
If you put your batteries in the
wrong way, the CHARGE light
will not turn on.
Important
Use only Cobra® Nickel Metal
Hydride Battery Pack (NiMH),
model FA-BP with charger
model FA-CF.
Cobra® recommends your FRS
radio is TURNED OFF while being
charged.
For charging Cobra®’s
microTALK® radio:
Take the plastic battery pack
guides out of the desktop
charger and insert radio. If
charging light is not on, check
position of FRS Radio. Radio
should be upright.
For charging Batteries:
With the plastic battery pack
guides in place, place battery
inside cavity so contacts are
touching the back wall inside
the cavity.
Note
In order to use the FA-CF charger
with model FRS 307, you must
remove the insert at the bottom of
the charger cavity well.This insert
is fitted with a tab that protrudes
approximately 1/8”from the
bottom of the charger cavity well.
This insert is in place for use with
models FRS 104, FRS 130, and
FRS 235.However, when using the
charger with model FRS 307,you
must remove the insert. Refer to
illustration below for the location
of this insert,and use you fingers
or a suitable tool (i.e.tweezers) to
remove the insert prior to using
the charger with the FRS 307.
