Wrench
Fig. 1
1. Remove the stock oil filter (replace with a new filter).
2. Install the Oil Supply Sandwich Adapter in place of the stock oil filter.
3. Make sure the O-Ring is facing toward the engine block, and the threaded stud with ½” hex opening is facing out
(See Fig. 1)
.
4. Although it is a tight fit, the aluminum housing and the threaded center stud will turn independently of each other. Start the assembly onto the
engine by hand at first. Then, while holding the outer housing in position, tighten the threaded center with a ½” Allen wrench. Make sure to
position the -6 AN (blue) fitting so that it is facing toward the driver’s side, pointing upward slightly (about the 10 o’clock position)
(See Fig. 1)
.
5. Install a new oil filter.
6. Attach an appropriate supply line for the accessory requiring an oil supply. A supply line can be attached using a -6AN (female) fitting. You may
also attach an oil pressure gauge line to the 1/8 NPT port on the Oil Supply Adapter by removing the 1/8 NPT plug, and installing your gauge
fitting.
