• Ensure that all the parts are correctly assembled before operating the unit.
• Always attach the heat control into the wok first, then plug the cord into the wall
outlet. After cooking and serving, turn the heat control to “OFF” and unplug from
the wall outlet. Let the wok cool before removing the heat control.
• Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces or hang over the edge of a counter, table
or other surface area.
• The wok and it’s heat control should not be used outdoors, placed near a hot gas
or electric burner or placed in a heated oven.
• Do not touch the wok or its cover when they are hot. Use the handles and knob
for lifting and carrying.
• Be careful when moving the wok if it contains hot liquid. Let liquids cool before
pouring out.
• Use your wok only for the cooking tasks describes in this booklet. Do not use
attachments with your wok unless recommended by Tempo (Aust.) Pty Ltd or it’s
authorised service centre.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote-control system.
NOTE: The non-stick surface must be conditioned to ensure non-stick cooking.
Lightly wipe a teaspoon of cooking oil over the entire interior surface with a paper
towel or soft cloth. Do not use fat or butter. Let the oil remain on the surface. The
wok is now ready to use.
