1. INTRODUCTION
The TOWER 10 AM PIR and TOWER 12 AM Dual Technology are
professional vandal resistance Anti-Masking detectors designed for
large commercial and industrial applications providing wide coverage
with superior resistance to harsh environment, employing several
revolutionary patented technologies
. Both detectors comply with EN
50131-1 Grade 3.
Features:
V-slot recessed small window technology (patent pending) for
extreme mechanical robustness and protection from false alarms
(patent pending).
"Obsidian Black Mirrors"™ and "Elliptic / Parabolic Mirror"
technology providing over 15,000 LUX resistance to white light and
multiple-solid curtain pattern with 50% better sensitivity than
comparable mirror optics (several patents pending).
Adaptive Active Infra-Red Anti-Masking technology providing the
most advanced reliable protection against intentional masking
attempts (patent pending).
Optional interchangeable Long-Range Curtain mirror providing 35m
x 2.5m (115ft x 8.2ft) coverage for TOWER-10 and 25 x 2m (82 x
6.5ft) coverage for TOWER-12.
Installer friendly features:
Built-in selectable E.O.L. resistors for alarm, trouble and tamper outputs.
Plug-in terminals attached to base for easy pre-wiring.
Unique sliding closing mechanism with captive screw.
Extended mounting height 1.5 - 4m (5 - 13 ft.).
Low supply voltage indication.
Remote controlled walk-test input.
Optional mounting brackets.
Selectable range adapted to the protected area size by use of a
Range Selector (TOWER 12 AM).
Microprocessor controlled, digital TMR signal processing with dual-
slope digital temperature compensation.
Front and Back tamper.
True "Creep zone" down looking optics.
Pet immunity (18Kg/40lb) using a special "pet mask".
Built-in auto diagnostic for both PIR and microwave detectors.

adjustments according to mounting height and coverage range.
ELECTRICAL
Sensors type:
PIR: dual element low noise pyroelectric sensor.
MW: X-Band Doppler module.
For UK - 10.687 GHz,
For EU / USA – 10.525 GHz..
For German/Czech 9.35 GHz
Supply voltage: 8 – 16 VDC.
Low voltage detection: If input voltage is below 7.5 VDC.
Supply current:
Standby @ 12 VDC: 12mA (TOWER 10 AM). 15 mA (TOWER 12).
Maximum: 14mA (TOWER 10 AM). 18 mA (TOWER 12).
Alarm period: 2 to 3 sec.
Masking detection delay: 30 sec.
Remote LED enable input (TST): High impedance input. Affects
LEDs operation only if internal LEDs selector is set to OFF.
Outputs:
Alarm output: Solid State Relay. NC, 100 mA / 30 V, 35 ohm
maximum internal resistance. "Open" for 2 – 3 sec. in case of
alarm, masking event or complete power failure.
Trouble output: Solid State Relay. NC, 100 mA / 30 VDC, 35 ohm
maximum internal resistance. "Open" in case of auto-diagnostic
failure, Anti-Mask event, low voltage or complete power failure.
Tamper output: NC switch, 50mA / 30 VDC. "Open" by opening
detector’s cover or removing it from mounting surface.
Built-in End Of Line resistors circuit: Selectable serial resistors for
each of the three outputs.
Resistors values: (tamper & alarm) , 1k, 2.2k, 4.7k, 10k,
