Awarded for: New technical application of magnesium alloy (96% Mg), diaphragms for all
individual driver components. Custom coatings, piston, wiring and cabinetry were also
developed to assist in the elimination of acoustic “coloration.” This is the world's first all
magnesium compound diaphragm loudspeaker (Woofer, tweeter and caps).
