Control Board Washers – 2000e Series

This bulletin applies to the following models:
CBS-2031e CBS-2041e CBS-2051e
CBS-2032e CBS-2042e CBS-2052e
It does not apply to CBS-2000 Series brewers, model numbers without “e” at the end.
Due to variations in the front panels and control boards on 2000e Series coffee brewers,
the control board may occasionally be positioned too close to the plastic overlay.
This may cause excessive pressure on the buttons, causing them to stick and generating
error code 255.
As a temporary solution to prevent this problem, Manufacturing has begun using small
nylon washers as spacers on the posts to which the control boards are mounted.
Beginning this week, on a temporary basis, control boards that are sent out as
replacement parts will include a supply of these washers with instructions. Six washers are
required for single brewers, seven for dual brewers.
The permanent solution is to lengthen the
standoffs on the control boards. This will occur on
the next production run of circuit boards in
approximately one month. The nylon washers will
then be discontinued on new equipment and
replacement boards.
When installing a replacement control board with
washers, place one washer on each mounting post
as shown in the drawing. If the brewer already
has washers on the posts, it is not necessary to
install additional washers.
Please contact Technical Support if you need a supply of the washers for control boards
you already have in stock.
