Isolation Transformers
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
CAUTION!
DO not connect to an ungrounded outlet. DO not use with
extension cords or adapters that eliminate the connection to
ground. The isolation transformer is designed for indoor use only.
Install the isolation transformer away from heat emitting
appliances such as radiators or heat registers. Do not install where
excessive moisture or other conductive contaminants are present.
Do not use with life support appliances if a malfunction or failure
could cause failure or significantly alter the performance of the
life-support device. Do not use in the presence of a flammable
anaesthetic mixture with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Installation
1. Connect Your Isolation Transformer to Your
AC Power Line
Plug the power cord into a standard, 3-wire grounded, 120V AC,
60 Hz utility outlet. Note: the isolation transformer only meets
UL60601-1 when plugged into a hospital-grade outlet.
2. Connect Equipment to Your Isolation Transformer
Plug the AC power cords of your equipment into your isolation
transformer. Do not use extension cords or adapters that eliminate
the connection to ground. Connect equipment that requires a
external connection to ground to the isolation transformer’s
potential equalization conductor, labeled “ ” on the unit.
3. Turn Your Isolation Transformer On
Flip the lighted switch to provide clean AC power to the isolation
transformer’s receptacles. “ ” is the ON position, “ ” the OFF.
Do not overload your isolation transformer. Excess load on the
isolation transformer will cause one or both of its circuit breakers
to trip; if it does, the outlets will cease to provide power. Reduce
the load on the isolation transformer down to your unit’s Output
Power rating by unplugging excess equipment, then depress the
circuit breaker button(s) to reset the breaker(s) and restore power.
Maintenance
Your isolation transformer requires no routine maintenance.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside your isolation
transformer; do not open it for any reason.

Surge and Noise Suppression
Your isolation transformer is a surge suppressor that protects
against surges on its input line and on its outlets. It also
suppresses disruptive EMI/RFI line noise on the utility power line.
Medical/Hospital Grade Protection
(UL60601-1 Listed)
Your isolation transformer is UL60601-1 listed,
1,Type B,Continuous Operation,Ordinary Equipment.
The isolation
transformer is Faraday-shielded and reduces the cumulative
leakage currents of all connected equipment below 100
microamps. As a further safety measure, your isolation
transformer is equipped with a hospital grade plug and receptacles
to reduce the risk of accidental equipment disconnection.
2-Year Limited Warranty
Seller warrants this product, if used in accordance with all
applicable instructions, to be free from original defects in material
and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of initial
purchase. If the product should prove defective in material or
workmanship within that period, Seller will repair or replace the
product, in its sole discretion. To obtain service under this
warranty you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization
(RMA) number from Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite
service center. Products must be returned to Tripp Lite or an
authorized Tripp Lite service center with transportation charges
prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description of the
problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser who must
have properly registered the product within 10 days of purchase.

OR TO DAMAGE RESULTING FROM ACCIDENT, MISUSE,
ABUSE OR NEGLECT. SELLER MAKES NO EXPRESS

MISE EN GARDE !
NE PAS relier à une prise non mise à la terre. NE PAS utiliser de
rallonges électriques ou d'adaptateurs qui coupent la connexion de
mise à la terre. Le transformateur d'isolation est conçu
uniquement pour un usage intérieur. Installez le transformateur
d'isolation loin des appareils producteurs de chaleur tels que les
radiateurs ou les registres de chaleur. Ne l'installez pas en
présence d'humidité excessive ou d'autres impuretés conductrices.
Ne le raccordez pas à des appareils de maintien des fonctions
vitales si leur dysfonction ou leur défaillance pourrait causer une
panne ou pourrait modifier de manière significative l’exécution de
ces dispositifs. Ne pas utiliser en présence d'un mélange
anesthésique inflammable composé d'air, d'oxygène ou d'oxyde
de nitrate.
Installation
1. Reliez votre transformateur d'isolation à votre ligne
d'alimentation électrique c.a.
Branchez le cordon d'alimentation dans une prise de secteur c.a.
trifilaire standard de 120 V à 60 Hz avec mise à la terre. Note :
le transformateur d'isolation n'est conforme à la norme UL60601-1
que s'il est relié à une prise de qualité hôpital.
2. Reliez le matériel à votre transformateur d'isolation
Branchez les cordons d'alimentation c.a. de votre matériel sur
votre transformateur d'isolation. N'utilisez pas de rallonges
électriques ou d'adaptateurs qui coupent la connexion de mise à la
terre. Reliez le matériel qui exige une connexion de mise à la terre
externe à la barre de régulation de tension du transformateur
d'isolation, marquée « » sur l'unité.
3. Mettez votre transformateur d'isolation sous tension
Appuyez sur l'interrupteur lumineux pour alimenter les bornes du
transformateur d'isolation en courant c.a. sans parasite. « »
indique la position MARCHE et « », la position ARRÊT.
Ne surchargez pas votre transformateur d'isolation. Toute
surcharge du transformateur d'isolation provoquera le
déclenchement d'au moins un de ses deux disjoncteurs, ce qui
coupera l'alimentation électrique aux prises. Réduisez t-3>la
charge du transformateur d'isolation au niveau de l'intensité
nominale de votre unité en débranchant l'excès de matériel, puis
appuyez sur les boutons des disjoncteurs déclenchés pour les
ramener à leur position initiale et rétablir le courant.
Entretien
Votre transformateur d'isolation n'exige aucun entretien courant.
Il n'y a pas de pièces à l'intérieur du transformateur d'isolation que
l'utilisateur puisse réparer par lui-même ; ne l'ouvrez pas
quelqu'en soit la raison.
