OPERATION AS DC CAMERA SUPPLY FROM MAINS
The TITAN 70 will automatically operate as a DC power supply once the camera, or
other device is turned on. There are no switches, it is fully automatic. The single green
LED will light indicating that the unit is operating as a power supply.
A battery may be attached to TITAN 70 while mounted to a camera. With the camera
OFF, the battery will charge. When camera is turned ON, TITAN 70 will supply power
to camera remembering the point at which it left charging. When camera is turned off,
TITAN 70 will again resume battery charging.
If AC line voltage is removed from the TITAN 70, and a charged battery is mounted on
the unit, power from the battery will be routed to the camera. When AC line voltage is
restored, the battery will be re-evaluated for a proper charge routine.
TIP: When camera is used on stakeout, (such as indoors on a tripod) mounting a battery
to the TITAN 70 allows instant switching to handheld.
WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THIS UNIT IN THE RAIN.
POWER LOSS
If AC power is lost during operation the unit will function in the following manner:
-When charging a battery, the green status LED will blink once every three seconds.
-When powering a camera with a battery applied, the green status LED will blink once
every three seconds.
-When powering a camera and no battery is applied, no LEDs will be lit.
