Replace the Rimage Professional
Autoloader
Before you begin:
1. Stop or pause all jobs.
2. Power off the embedded control center.
3. Power off the Professional.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the Professional.
b. Remove the printer from the Professional and set it aside.
a. From the back of the printer disconnect the cables.
Caution: Some cables in your
system may be latched. Equipment
damage may occur if cables are
not disconnected appropriately.
Caution: Lift the Everest printer with care. It is very heavy.
*A monitor, keyboard, and mouse are required only if the system is not
connected to a network.
Remove the printer.
Disconnect the cables.
Exchange the hard drives in the two Professionals.
(Optional)
Unpack the replacement Professional.
Use this procedure to set up your replacement autolaoder when you are completing a
rapid exchange.
The term ‘Professional’ is used throughout this document to refer to the Rimage 5100N
and the Rimage 5300N.
Note: Your system may not look exactly like the system pictured.
a. Open the box. Refer to the instruction label on the outside of the box.
b. Remove the contents from the box. Refer to the instruction label on the
inside ap of the box.
Note: Perform this step only if you want to keep your original hard drives
for use in the replacement Professional.
a. Remove the hard drives from the Professional to be returned.
Tip: Refer to Replace the Hard Drives on a Rimage 5100N or Rimage
5300N (2000509) shipped with your replacement Professional.

Navigate: Professional Family > Support - Product > Documents tab.
b. Remove the hard drives from the replacement Professional.
c. Install the hard drives from the Professional to be returned into the
replacement Professional.
d. Install the hard drives from the replacement Professional into the
Professional to be returned.
