TigerStack III™
24-Port 10/100 Stackable Managed Switch with POE
www.smc.com
The SMC TigerStack III SMC6826MPE switch provides wire
speed 10/100 Fast Ethernet switching specifically designed
for enterprise workgroup environments. This switch boasts
advanced Quality of Service features that can reduce the
latency of packets through the network, with specific traffic
prioritization improving the delivery of converged data such
as voice and high quality video over IP. The SMC6826MPE
has great deployment flexibility, with 802.3af POE support
on all 10/100 ports, dual combo expansion ports to support
either an RJ-45 10/100/1000 port or an open Mini-GBIC slot
(for use with mini-GBIC transceivers) and stacking support
of up to eight stacked units. Stacking reduces network man-
agement complexity by allowing up to 192 Fast Ethernet
ports to be managed as a single entity.
