type defaults to read_write.

RemoveDiskDevice
Removes a raw host volume (disk device) from a n enabled host. The replication manager unpresents
the underlying storage volume (virtual disk) from the enabled host and informs the host that the storage
is no longer available.
Syntax and a rguments
When initially inserted into a job, the command syntax and default arguments are:
RemoveDiskDevice ( %storvol_unc_name%, %host_name% )
Virtual Disk Name (%storvol_unc_name%). Select or enter the UNC name of the underlying storage
volume (virtual disk) to u npresent from the host.
Host Name (%host_name%). Select or enter the name of the host from which the storage volume (virtual
disk) is to be unpresented.

• This command is typically used with raw disk devices. Raw disk devices are not mounted, thus
they cannot be removed by using the UnmountHostVolume command.

does not inform a host when a storage volume is unpresented.

ResyncMirrorclone
Restarts the local replication from a source virtual disk to its fractured m irrorclone. The fractured
mirrorclone becomes a synchronized mirrorclone again.
