MODE Overview – The keypad that was made for the iPod generation, this scroll wheel and

meta data keypad allows users to search, access and control their music library just as if they

were using their iPod. Easily connected to the network via Cat5 cable, easy to program and

easy to learn, this is the perfect solution for the home owner who already has grown accus-

tomed to carrying their music with them.

Dealer Successes – The most successful dealers are demonstrating the MZC/MODE combo and asking potential

customers to visit their showroom with iPod in hand. Once they arrive, these dealers are docking the customer’s

iPod and using their own music for the demonstration as they walk around the showroom.

Selling MZC – Like all multi-room music systems, the MZC is a demonstration product. It is a new product category

that most people have never experienced and typically do not understand. First they must experience it, and

then you must walk them through an exploration process where they discover that they want it enough to make

the purchase a priority.

The discovery process typically includes them getting a very brief and simple explanation of multi-room music.

Then you can talk them through the type of feedback you receive from people who have discovered how won-

derful it is to have music playing throughout their home.

How the parties are more fun, how the house feels more

like a home, how most people talk about and enjoy their

music more than anything else that they have chosen

to put into their new home. Then let them play with the

system themselves.

Selling a multi-room music system is seldom an affordabil-

ity discussion, but rather a conversation about priorities.

People typically have all the money they need to en-

hance their home with what they want. Our work is to

get them to a point of wanting what we sell; they will

then raise the purchase on their priority scale.
