FUCIONAMIENTO
1. Retire con cuidado el Ventilador de la bolsa.
2. Coloque el Ventilador en una supercie rme y nivelada.
ADVERTENCIA: Los topes de plástico o de goma, como los pies de
esta unidad, pueden adherirse a la supercie de muebles y/o pisos de
madera dura. La unidad puede dejar un residuo que podría oscurecer,
manchar o producir defectos permanentes en la terminación de ciertas
supercies de muebles y/o pisos de madera dura.
3. Remueva la pecula de plástico del ador no y deséchela.
(Figura 1)
4. Conecte el cable a un tomacorrientes eléctrico de 120 V~.
Asegúrese que el enchufe se introduzcarmemente en el
tomacorrientes.
5. Encienda el Ventilador seleccionando la velocidad deseada con la
Perilla de Encendido situada al costado del Ventilador. (Figura 2)

7. La cremallera con un adjuste de mantendra el Ventilador en la
posicion deseada.
EL ENSAMBLE DE LA CREMALLERA EN EL “CYCLONE”
ESTA DISENADA PARA QUE TRABE EN CADA POSICION.
ASI QUE CUANDO AJUSTE EL ANGULO DEL VENTILADOR
OIRA UN SONIDO LO CUAL ES NORMAL.
8. Para girar el Ventilador APAGAR, girar la Perilla de la Poder/
Velocidad a APAGAR (0) y quitar la unidad de la salida eléctrica.
MANTENIMIENTO
ADVERTENCIA: SIEMPRE DESCONECTE EL CABLE ANTES
DE MOVER O REPARAR.
ADVERTENCIA: ¡NO SUMERJA EL VENTILADOR EN AGUA!
LIMPIEZA: Limpie las aberturas de toma y escape del Ventilador
con el accesorio de cepillo de su aspiradora. Esto quitará el polvo y
las pelusas que pudieran acumularse con el tiempo. NO INTENTE
DESARMAR EL VENTILADOR. Limpie el cuerpo del Ventilador con
un paño suave.
CUIDADO: No use gasolina, bencina, thinner (removedor),
limpiadores fuertes, etc. ya que pueden dañar el Ventilador.
NUNCA use ALCOHOL O SOLVENTES.
REPARACIONES: Cualquier otra reparación, a excepcn del
mantenimiento general del usuario, debe ser realizada por un
representante de servicios autorizado. Llame al 1-800-233-0268, de
lunes a viernes, entre las 8:00 am y las 5:00 pm EST para averiguar
la ubicación de su centro de servicios más cercano.
ALMACENAJE: Guarde el Ventilador, con estas instrucciones, en la
caja original en un lugar fresco y seco.
1. Read all instructions before using Fan.
2. Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical
requirements of the Fan.
3. Use this Fan only as described in this manual. Any other use
not recommended by the manufacturer may cause re, electrical
shock, or injury to persons.
4. To reduce the risk of personal injury and electric shock, the Fan
should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
5. Unplug power cord before installing, servicing, or moving the Fan.
WARNING: DO NOT DEPEND UPON THE ON-OFF SWITCH
AS THE SOLE MEANS OF DISCONNECTING POWER WHEN
INSTALLING OR SERVICING THE FAN. ALWAYS UNPLUG
THE POWER CORD.
6. This Fan must NOT be used in potentially dan gerous
locations such as ammable, explosive, chemical-laden
or wet atmospheres.
7. DO NOT use Fan in or near a window. Rain may create an
electrical hazard.
8. Completely assemble Fan, according to instructions, before
connecting to power supply.
WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE HAS A POLARIZED PLUG
(ONE BLADE IS WIDER THAN THE OTHER). TO REDUCE
THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, THIS PLUG IS INTENDED
TO FIT IN A POLARIZED OUTLET ONLY ONE WAY. MATCH
WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO WIDE SLOT, FULLY INSERT.
IF THE PLUG DOES NOT FIT FULLY IN THE OUTLET,
REVERSE THE PLUG. IF IT STILL DOES NOT FIT, CONTACT
A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DEFEAT
THIS SAFETY FEATURE.

CALL 800-233-0268, MONDAY - FRIDAY, BETWEEN
8:00 AM AND 5:00 PM EASTERN. IF THE PLUG WARNING
LABEL IS MISSING OR DAMAGED, CALL THE TOLL FREE
NUMBER FOR A REPLACEMENT LABEL.
9. Where possible, avoid the use of extension cords. If they must be
used, minimize the risk of overheating by ensuring that they are
UL listed. Never use a single extension cord to operate more than
one Fan. Do Not plug Fan into cord reel.
10.Do not operate any Fan with a damaged cord or plug or after the
Fan malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return Fan to authorized service facility for examination, electrical
or mechanical adjustment or repair.
11.Do not insert or allow ngers or foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause an electric shock
or re, or damage the Fan. Do not block or tamper with the Fan
in any manner while it is in operation.
12.Always place the Fan on a stable, at, level surface when operating,
to avoid the chance of the Fan overturning. Locate the Power Cord
so the Fan or other objects are not resting on it. Do not run Power
Cord under carpeting. Do not cover Power Cord with throw rugs,
runners, or the like. Arrange Power Cord away from room trafc
and where it will not be tripped over.
13.This Fan is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never
locate a Fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
14. Do not use Fan outdoors.
15. This Fan is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities including
areas where livestock, poultry or other animals are conned.
Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 547-7 (2002),
or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical
requirements for Agricultural Buildings. THIS FAN DOES NOT
MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 547-7 (2002).
16. This Fan is not suitable for use in hazardous locations. Please refer
to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 500 or applicable state or
local codes or standards relating to electrical requirements
for Hazardous locations. THIS FAN DOES NOT MEET THE
REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 500 (2002).
WARNING: REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC
SHOCK – DO NOT USE THIS FAN WITH ANY SOLID STATE
SPEED CONTROL DEVICES.
This Fan is for residential use only.
