It is effective
in the Serial
intedace. This signal
is transmitted to the
printer
at the end of a data
string. This signal
is
taken together
with the data
in
the
print€r
buffer. Upon
finding the
ETX
in the buffer,
the
printer
will
imme-
diately transmit
an ACK signal
to notify the host computer to
send another
data strin&

This signal is ignorcd by the
printer
in all modes.
lt can be used as

spale

for dummy use.

SP initiates
movement of
the
caniage one
pdnt position
in normal mode, or
1/60 inch
in Graphic
mode.

(Vertical
Tab)
VT initiates
movement of the
paper
up to the next
previously
set Vedical
Tab
Stop.
