GETTING STARTED
INSERT BATTERIES (FIG. 3)
Batteries serve as back up power supply. For continuous
use of LCD backlight, always plug in the adapter.
1. Remove the battery compartment.
2. Insert the batteries, matching the po
larities (+ / -).
3. Press
RESET after each battery change.
CLOCK
CLOCK RECEPTION
This product is designed to synchronize its clock automatically
with a clock signal:
EU: DCF-77 signal: within 1500 km (932 miles) of
Frankfurt, Germany.
UK: MSF-60 signal: within 1500 km (932 miles) of
Anthorn, England.
US: WWVB-60 signal: within 3200km (2000 miles) of
Fort Collins Colorado. Manually set clock to select time
zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern).
To manually activate / deactivate a clock signal:
Press and hold .
NOTE Reception takes 2-10 minutes. If the signal is weak,
it can take up to 24 hours to get a valid signal.
NOTE
To ensure good reception of clock signal, place the unit
near a window and keep it away from metal surfaces
and electrical appliances.
Do not operate the unit over a steel desk or metal
surface, as this will interfere with clock signal reception.
Clock signal reception indicator:

For BA200:
1. Press and hold

to confirm.
4. The settings order is: hour, minute, second, year, month,
date and time zone. The weekday will match automatically.
NOTE Time zone offset sets the clock +/- 12 hours from
the received clock signal time.
Press
to select 12 / 24 hour format.
For BA200A:
1. Press
to select time zone: (P) Pacific, (E) Eastern,
(C) Central or (M) Mountain.
2. Press and hold
.
3. Press
or to change the settings.
4. Press
to confirm.
5. The settings order is: D-T/S-T, 12/24 hr, hour, minute,
second, year, month and date. The weekday will match
automatically.
NOTE
“D-T” means Daylight Saving Time and “S-T” means
Normal Time.
ALARM
To set the alarm:
1. Press and hold
.
2. Press
( for US) or to set hour and minute.
3. Press
to confirm. indicates alarm is activated.
To toggle alarm and snooze On / Off:
Press . indicates alarm is activated, whereas
indicates snooze is activated.
To silence the alarm:
Press to silence it for 5 minutes. will flash
continuously.
OR
Press any other key to turn the alarm off.
PRESSURE
To select barometer measurement unit:
Press to toggle between mb/hPa and inHg.
SET ALTITUDE
Input the altitude of the location for an accurate pressure analysis.

or to set the altitude in 10 m (30 ft) increments
from -300 m (-900 ft) to 1200 m (3600 ft).
3. Press
to confirm.
PRESSURE TREND
RISE STEADY FALL
NOTE After inserting the batteries or resetting the unit, please
allow 12 hours for the unit to record the incoming air pressure
data for calculating and analysing the weather forecast.
WEATHER FORECAST
This product forecasts the next 12 to 24 hours of weather
within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius.

TEMPERATURE
To toggle temperature unit:
Press .
BACKLIGHT
Press to activate the backlight for a few seconds.
NOTE The backlight will always be turned on when the
power adapter is used (OPTIONAL).
RESET
Press the RESET hole at the back of the unit to return to the
default settings.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust,
temperature or humidity.
Do not cover the ventilation holes with any items such as
newspapers, curtains etc.
Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid over
it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials.
Do not tamper with the unit’s internal components. This
invalidates the warranty.
Only use fresh batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.
Images shown in this manual may differ from the actual
display.
When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected
separately for special treatment.
Placement of this product on certain types of wood
may result in damage to its finish for which Oregon
Scientific will not be responsible. Consult the furniture
manufacturer's care instructions for information.
The contents of this manual may not be reproduced

Do not dispose old batteries as unsorted municipal
waste. Collection of such waste separately for special
treatment is necessary.
Please note that some units are equipped with a
battery safety strip. Remove the strip from the battery
compartment before first use.

OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI
INSERIMENTO DELLE BATTERIE (FIG. 3)
Il prodotto funziona con 3 batterie di tipo AAA e con
l’adattatore da 4,5V inclusi nella confezione. In caso di
utilizzo dell’alimentatore la retroilluminazione del display è
sempre attiva e le batterie hanno funzione di back-up
1. Togliere il coperchio del vano batterie batterie.
2. Inserire le batterie, rispettando la polarità indicata (+ / -).
3. Dopo avere sostituito le batterie, premere RESET

RICEZIONE DELL’ORA
Questo prodotto è progettato per sincronizzare automaticamente
il proprio orologio con un segnale di radiocontrollo:

Inserire l’altitudine della località per un’analisi precisa della

IN AUMENTO STABILE IN DIMINUZIONE
NOTA Dopo aver inserito le batterie o aver azzerato l’unità,
attendere 12 ore perché l’unità registri i dati relativi alla
pressione dell’aria in entrata per il calcolo e l’analisi delle
previsioni meteorologiche.
PREVISIONI METEOROLOGICHE
Questo prodotto è in grado di mostrare le previsioni
meteorologiche per le successive 12-24 ore entro un raggio
di 30-50 km.

FUNZIONE RESET
Premere RESET sul retro dell’unità per ripristinare i valori
predefiniti.
AVVERTENZE
Non sottoporre il prodotto a forza eccessiva, urti,
polvere, temperatura o a umidità.
Non otturare i fori di aerazione con oggetti come giornali,
tende, etc.
Non immergere l’unità in acqua. Se si versa del liquido
sul prodotto, asciugarlo immediatamente con un panno
morbido e liscio.
Non pulire l’unità con materiali abrasivi o corrosivi.
Non manomettere i componenti interni. In questo modo
si invalida la garanzia.
Utilizzare solo batterie nuove. Non mescolare batterie
nuove con batterie vecchie.

POUR COMMENCER
MISE EN PLACE DES PILES (FIG. 3)
Les piles n’ont qu’une fonction d’alimentation de secours.
Si vous désirez utiliser continuellement le rétro éclairage de
l’écran LCD, veuillez brancher l’adaptateur secteur.
1. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles.
2. Insérez les piles, en respectant les polarités (+ / -).
3. Appuyer sur
RESET chaque fois que les piles ont été
remplacées.
HORLOGE
RÉCEPTION DE L’HORLOGE
Ce produit est conçu pour synchroniser automatiquement
l’horloge avec le signal radio :
EU
: Signal DCF-77 : dans un rayon de 1500 Km (932
miles) depuis Frankfort, Allemagne.
UK : Signal MSF-60 : dans un rayon de 1500 Km (932
miles) depuis Anthorn, Angleterre.
US : Signal WWVB-60 : dans un rayon de 3200 km (2000
miles) de Fort Collins, Colorado. Réglez manuellement
l’horloge pour sélectionner le fuseau horaire (heure
Pacifique, des montagnes, Centrale ou côte Est
Pour activer/d

REMARQUE La réception prend de 2 à 10 minutes. Si le
signal est faible, 24 heures peuvent être nécessaires pour
obtenir un signal valide.
REMARQUE
Pour assurer une bonne réception du signal radio de
l’horloge, placez l’appareil près d’une fenêtre et éloignez
le des surfaces métalliques et appareils électriques.
Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil sur un bureau ou
une surface métallique, ceci créerait une interférence
avec la réception du signal de l’horloge.

Pour BA200 :
1. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton

4. Les réglages s’effectuent dans l’ordre suivant : Heure,
minute, seconde, année, mois, date et fuseau. Les jours
de la semaine correspondront automatiquement.
REMARQUE
La fonction de fuseau horaire règle l’horloge à +/- 12
heures de l’heure du signal reçu.

Pour BA200A :
1. Appuyez sur
pour sélectionner le fuseau : Heure
Pacifique (P), Côte Est (E), Centrale (C) ou des

NOTE

aux heures normales (hiver).
L’ALARME
Pour régler l’alarme :

pour confirmer. indique que l’alarme
est activée.
Pour alterner entre activer/désactiver l’alarme et le
rappel d’alarme :

que indique que le rappel d’alarme est activé.
Pour couper le son de l’alarme :

son de l’alarme. clignotera en continu.

la sonnerie du réveil.

Pour sélectionner l’unité de mesure du baromètre :

en mb à celle en inHg.
RÈGLE L’ALTITUDE
Entrez l’altitude de votre localisation pour une analyse
précise de la pression.

VARATION DE PRESSION

NOTE Après avoir inséré les piles ou réinitialisé l’appareil,
attendez 12 heures pour que l’appareil enregistre les
données d’entrée des pressions atmosphériques afin de
pouvoir analyser et donner les prévisions météo.

Ce produit vous permet de connaître les prévisions
météorologiques pour les prochaines 12 à 24 heures dans

RÉTRO-ÉCLAIRAGE
Appuyez sur pour activer le rétro-éclairage pendant

NOTE Le rétro-éclairage sera toujours activé lorsque vous
utilisez l’adaptateur secteur (en option).
REINITIALISATION
Appuyez dans la fente RESET (réinitialiser) au dos de
l’appareil pour revenir aux réglages par défaut.
PRECAUTIONS
Ne pas soumettre le produit à une force excessive, au
choc, à la poussière, aux changements de température
ou à l’humidité.
Ne pas couvrir les trous de ventilation avec des journaux,
rideaux etc…
Ne pas immerger le produit dans l’eau. Si vous renversez
du liquide sur l’appareil, s
échez-le immédiatement avec
un tissu doux.
Ne pas nettoyer l’appareil avec des matériaux corrosifs
ou abrasifs.
Ne pas trafiquer les composants internes. Cela invalidera
votre garantie.
N’utilisez que des piles neuves. Ne pas mélanger des
piles neuves et usagées.

ERSTE SCHRITTE
BATTERIEN EINLEGEN (ABB. 3)
Die Batterien dienen lediglich der Sicherung der
Stromversorgung. Schließen Sie für einen Dauerbetrieb der
LCD-Hintergrundbeleuchtung stets den Netzadapter an.
1. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach.
2. Legen Sie die Batterien ein und achten Sie auf die
Übereinstimmung der Polaritäten (+ / -).
3. Drücken Sie nach jedem Batteriewechsel die
RESET-
Taste.
FUNKUHR
ZEITSIGNALEMPFANG
Dieses Produkt synchronisiert seine Uhr automatisch mit
einem Zeitsignal:
EU: Signal DCF-77: innerhalb von 1500 km (932 Meilen)
von Frankfurt, Deutschland.
UK: Signal MSF-60: innerhalb von 1500 km (932 Meilen)
von Anthorn, England.
US: Signal WWVB-60: innerhalb von 3200 km (2000
Meilen) von Fort Collins, Colorado. Stellen Sie die
gewünschte Zeitzone manuell ein (Pacific, Mountain,
Central oder Eastern).
So aktivieren / deaktivieren Sie ein Zeitsignal manuell:
Halten Sie gedrückt.
HINWEIS Der Empfang nimmt etwa 2-10 Minuten in
Anspruch. Wenn das Signal schwach ist, kann es bis zu 24
Stunden dauern, bis ein gültiges Signal empfangen wird.
HINWEIS
Um einen guten Empfang des Zeitsignals zu
gewährleisten, stellen Sie die Uhr in der Nähe eines
Fensters und entfernt von metallischen Flächen und
elektrischen Geräten auf.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht auf einem Tisch aus Stahl
oder einer metallischen Fläche, da dies den Empfang
des Zeitsignals beeinträchtigen kann.

Der Zeitzonenausgleich stellt die Uhr auf bis zu +/- 12
Stunden von der empfangenen Signalzeit ein.

MEERESHÖHE EINSTELLEN
Geben Sie die Meereshöhe Ihres Standorts ein, um eine
präzise Analyse des Luftdrucks zu sicherzustellen.

Schritten von jeweils 10 m (30 Fuß), von -300 m (-900
